For several years the previous two editions have ranked as the top-selling books on the topic at Amazon.com; it is used as a textbook in many college and university film programs.
He is also the author of Bluescreen Compositing (2006, Focal Press), an in-depth tutorial on all the facets of creating special effects through color-based compositing, so common in films today.
