John's "flick pick" this month is:
Play the Game
Andy Griffith stars as nursing home resident Joe, a lonely widower. His grandson David (Paul Campbell), a slick car salesperson and womanizer, takes Joe under his wing to teach him the rules of "the game." But as shy Grandpa is transformed into "a wild stallion," David really falls in love with Julie (an appealing Maria Sokoloff), the granddaughter of another resident (Everybody Loves Raymond Emmy winner Doris Roberts).
Don't watch it with your grandkids, but most older folks will enjoy this movie immensely!
